In 1968 answering the wish of students in Europe, then that of students of the entire world for an international recognition of their status, the ISIC was born, product of the non-profit organization ISTC (International Student Travel Confederation).

Since then the UNESCO recognized the ISIC card as the "ONLY international proof of a full time student".

ISIC today is carried by 4.5 million students around the world and it plugs its holder into more than 36,000 savings and services worldwide.

The Unesco also endorses IYTC, (The International Youth Travel Card), and ITIC (the International Teachers' Identity Card). Cards also issued by ISTC and that enjoy an accredible array of discounts and concessions in Lebanon and around the world.

To this date, the ISIC, IYTC, & ITIC enjoy more than 225 benefit outlets  in Lebanon developed only by Campus Travel the leading student, youth, (and their parents) travel agency.

Who is eligible?
For the ISIC card, all full time students, above 12 years old.
Non students, under 26 years old are eligible for the International Youth Card.Full time teachers are eligible for the International Teachers' card.

only Campus Travel, plus worldwide benefits.
 
Documents required to get the ISIC:
* For the ISIC card
- a recent passport picture
- a photocopy of your valid college or school identity card, a letter from the
responsible director, or a valid registration receipt is also accepted.
* For the Youth card "The definite proof of Youth ID around the world"
- an identity to prove you are under 26 is required.
* For the Teachers card "The definite proof of teacher ID around the world"
- a proof that you are a full time teacher is required.

Cost and validity of the card:
- In Lebanon the ISIC, Youth or Teachers' cards cost 10$ (+10% VAT).
- The validity of the ISIC and Teacher cards start from September every year till December of the following year,
- The Youth card is valid 1 year from the date of its issuing
